Infant Immunizations

Immunizations are an important way of protecting your baby's lifelong health.

Your baby needs to see a doctor regularly to receive the protection that he needs to keep him healthy. Because it often takes several doses of the vaccine to build up protection it is important to get these shots at the recommended time.

The immunization schedule is as follows:

  • 2 Months Polio, DTaP, HEP B, HiB
  • 4 Months Polio, DTaP, HEP B, HiB
  • 6 Months DTaP, HEP B, HiB
  • 12 Months Polio, MMR, HiB, Varicella
  • 15 Months DtaP

These vaccines offer protection from serious and life threatening diseases such as diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, polio, chickenpox, hepatitis B, and haemophilus influenza type B. But they only work if you make sure that your child is completely immunized.
