The Stanislaus County Health Services Agency will offer a flu-shot clinic for children on Oct. 28 and 29 at the Behavioral Health Recovery conference room, 800 Scenic Drive, Modesto. The cost is $15 per shot.

Pediatric clinics will be available to low-income children from 6 months to 18 years old who are considered “high risk” because of diabetes or heart or lung conditions. Clinics will be available for all low-income children ages 6 to 23 months.

The county public health department has a recorded flu hotline with information on vaccination and flu season tips that will be updated as additional information becomes available.
