Dr. John Walker, Stanislaus County's public health officer, announced
Saturday that another human case of West Nile virus has been confirmed
in the county. The infected person is a 58-year-old male who is hospitalized
in the Bay Area. The man becomes the 12th confirmed human case in Stanislaus
County. For more information on the mosquito-borne illness, the county
