COUNTY – The Stanislaus County Health Services Agency recently
dedicated its main conference room in memory of deceased employee Linda
Martin. The conference room is now called the Martin Conference Room.
Martin was an employee of the county's physician residency program when
she was tragically killed in 1992 in an automobile accident one block
from the 830 Scenic Drive location.
"Linda's memory continues to enrich us as an organization. Everyone
remembers her engaging smile and zest for life. The dedication of the
Martin Conference Room is one more way we can keep her memory alive,"
stated Bev Finley, the Managing Director of the Stanislaus County Health
Services Agency. A plaque honoring Martin was placed in the conference
room as a memorial to her memory.
The conference room was dedicated during a small ceremony with family
and friends.
