County – The cold and flu season is just beginning. That’s
why the Stanislaus County Health Services Agency (HSA) is encouraging people
to get a flu vaccine.
Flu vaccine is now available to all adults who want to prevent the flu,
and children four years of age and older with high risk health conditions.
Flu vaccines are available at the HSA’s Public Health Department
at 820 Scenic Drive in Modesto. Vaccines are being given each Monday through
Thursday between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Vaccines are $10 and are administered
by Registered Nurses. The vaccine clinic will be closed on December 31
and January 1 for the holiday.
The public can find more information on colds and the flu at www.hsahealth.org
