Student and Volunteer Placement

At Health Services Agency (HSA), we're proud to offer meaningful opportunities for both students and volunteers to gain real-world experience while supporting our community's health. Whether you're earning academic credit or simply looking to give back, there may be a place for you here.

Students

Are you a student looking to fulfill internship requirements or gain experience in healthcare or public health? Our student placements are:

  • Designed for those seeking academic credit or experience in healthcare or public health
  • Structured with defined projects and supervision
  • Intended to meet learning objectives set by your school
  • Unpaid (Fellowships and stipends do not apply)
Volunteers

Volunteers play a vital role in supporting our agency's mission. Volunteer roles are:

  • Open to all levels of experience
  • Flexible, based on agency needs
  • A great way to explore different areas of community health and health care
  • Not affiliated with school credit or coursework
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
